About

I was born in California but grew up in New Jersey. I went to College at the University of Rhode Island graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration. Shortly thereafter I went to computer programming school at Chubb Institute of Computer Technology in Morristown, NJ. As a computer programmer I lived and worked in Wales, UK from 1997-1998.

In 1999 I moved to the San Francisco Bay area and lived in Northern California and worked for an internet startup in Marin County. In 2004 I pursued my Masters at Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, in Mythology and Depth Psychology. While getting my Masters I also worked for a non-profit, Bread & Roses, as their database administrator, development/fundraising associate, and website manager. I loved it – I was studying the non-logical world of mythology, symbols and metaphor while putting my computer-logic skills to good use for a great cause. I managed the redesign of their website from a strictly HTML website to a user-friendly, easily update-able and customizable CMS (Content Management System) developed in Joomla along with helping kickstart their content management and social media strategy. I am proud to say I  streamlined their donor acknowledgment system and the reporting of donor/campaign statistics within their Filemaker Pro database.

Currently I am consulting for foundations, non-profits and small businesses that need skills in the following areas: database design and maintenance, website redesign (especially in the CMS, WordPress), and development/fundraising assistance. You can read my resume here. You can contact me here.

Currently I live in Western Massachusetts and work as a consultant doing database programming, website design, and general IT troubleshooting.
